Hand wash only with mild soap. Do not soak wood for long period of time. Suitable for food. With time the teak wood color will fade to a grey shade, for a longer lasting maintenance you can use seed oil, like Jojoba. You can use a cloth with warm water and soft soap to clean your teak tableware.
